Mateyo Jakobi has been a journalist since 2009, reporting under the name Matthew Jacobson. He began his media career at Dixie Sun News in St. George before moving onto The Spectrum, part of the USA Today Network. In 2018, he joined the team at KSL TV, the Utah NBC affiliate.
