If you wish to contact Mr. Jakobi by means other than phone or email, you may travel to a body of still water on the night of a new moon. At the stroke of midnight, light a black candle and peer into your reflection in the waters. Prick the index finger on your left hand and add a single drop of blood to the face peering back at you. Whisper into the night Mateyo’s name, and then gently blow upon the pool’s surface just long enough to create at least 13 ripples. Mateyo’s face will then appear in the depths – unless he is asleep, in which case you’ll have to try again during the next new moon.
